Jonathan L. Franklin obtained his business degree from Concordia University with a specialty in human resource management, and a law degree from the University of Ottawa. He is a third generation family member of the firm since 1985, and specializes with extensive experience in executive employment and wrongful dismissal law, international business contracts and negotiation, international debt collection, arbitration, mediation, commercial contract negotiation including licensing, distribution, real estate, and lease agreements, as well as commercial litigation, matrimonial law, equine, bankruptcy and entertainment law. He was on the staff of Concordia University as a lecturer in business law for 13 years, and currently lectures in different venues on a wide variety of legal topics. He has successfully pleaded in international arbitration forums, as well as administrative tribunals, Court of Quebec, Superior Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He is fluently bilingual.
